“…They brought their little children and set them down upon the ground round about him, and Jesus stood in the midst…” 3 Nephi 17:12
What follows is one of the most marvelous passages in scripture relating to Christ’s personal ministry to little children. In this passage, written after His resurrection at about AD 34, Jesus directs people in Ancient America to ponder His words and pray for understanding. He heals their sick and prays for the people, using language that cannot be written. Angels minister to and fire encircles their little ones. In this image, of course, Christ has just been born. But the message is still the same, whether to Hear Him, Come Unto Him, or Gather Round About Him. He will bless you.
